Tropical Ghana Foundation is one of the main reasons for Tropical Ghana’s existence. Tropical Ghana Foundation aims to offer assistance to encourage and inspire less privileged but intelligent children in Ghana to stay in school. Part of the proceeds from the sales of Tropical Ghana recipes help the foundation reach its goal of offering scholarship in small financial amounts to encourage and inspire less privileged but intelligent children to stay in school.

Charles Cann’s determination to sustain a school supply donation drive he started in 2002 formed the building blocks of Tropical Ghana Spirit Fund, currently the Tropical Ghana Foundation. Mount Mary Schools in Ofankor – Accra, Ghana, is Tropical Ghana's adopted school and has helped shape the Tropical Ghana Foundation.
